Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Prof. Maria Candelaria Gil Farina received the Ph. D. from La Laguna University (Canary Islands, Spain) and she's Professor in this university.
She has published more than twenty papers about applied mathematics and economic applications in Journals and Conferences and several books. She has received the “Doctorate Award in Social Sciences” (1994/5) (University of La Laguna) and the “Young Researchers Award in Social and Legal Sciences” (1997), (Canary Islands Government).
She was Associate Editor in the Proceedings of the 4th WSEAS International Conference on Mathematics and Computers in Business and Economics (MCBE’03). She is member of ASEPELT and ASEPUMA, two relevant institutions in Applied Economics and Mathematics for Economic and Business
She was Department Secretary in the Applied Economics Departament (University of La Laguna, 1998-2000). She is collaborating to WSEAS Conference from 2003.
