Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Prof. Leonid Shaikhet received the M.Sc. from Donetsk State University, 1971, the Cand. Phys.-Math. Sc. from Kiev Institute of Mathematics, 1981, the Dr. Phys.-Math. Sc. from Kiev State University, 1991, Professor from Donetsk State University of Management, 1995.
He has published two books and more than 150 papers in Journals and Conferences. He has received the award of G.Soros Foundation (1993). He is editor in the Journals: “Advances in Difference Equations (ADE)”, “Stability and Control: Theory and Applications (SACTA)”.
He is a member of the Gesellschaft fur Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik (GAMM), Germany, of the WSEAS Working Group on Applied Mathematics. He was the organizer of the special session on 16th IMACS World Congress (Lausanne, Switzerland, 2000). He has a great experience in the region of stability of stochastic functional-differential equations, stochastic Volterra difference equations, Lyapunov functionals construction for stability investigation, numerical analysis, optimal control theory for stochastic hereditary systems.
