I am really impressed of the quality of the research papers that were presented during the conference. I found a lot of ideas that are particularly interesting to me for my further scientific research. The whole organization of the conference was perfect. The CD-ROM Proceedings and WSES-Press International post conference books are excellent and the quality of the published papers is high! The social part of the conference was excellent as well. I would like to congratulate you for your successful conference and want to encourage you to continue the good tradition of CSCC conferences in the future. Sincerely yours, Valeri Mladenov -- dr. ir. In details I would say that organisation of pre-conference e-mails etc. was the same as for the previous conference. It is better not to change that is so good and verified by the time. However, the organisation of the conference itself was better in all regards comparing to the previous conference except for some points that were substantially better. But generally speaking the conference was fascinating. The materials of the conference have the same quality as for the previous conference. Also in this case I would say it is not necessary to change that is ultimate. However, the pictures on the backside of the book are the improvements showing new places of the congresses that will be held in the future. The Rithymna hotel and the Rethimno was the great and beautiful place for conference. It is clear that the high quality of the organisation and the selection of the beautiful place for the conference is the standard for the future conferences. Everybody can rely on it. I was very surprised with amount of papers in the materials. I was not able to read all materials for theirs huge size. But I have read some of them and I must say the contribution of the conference to the science is marvellous. It is better to say that contribution of the all conferences organised by you is difficult to assess today. Only the future can do that. Because the contribution for today is so great therefore it will be great in the future as well. Thank you for organising such great congress and selecting my paper for presentation there. Thank you also for giving me chance to chair one section in the conference. It was honour for me. Dear Prof. Mastorakis, Please accept my sincere thanks and congratulations for successfully oganizing this conference. It has been a tremendous experience and privilige to be a part of this community, and I am enlightened by the wisdom as well as the friendship of the whole crowd of the meeting. All this would have not been possible without the leadership of the organizing Committee, and of course, Professor Mastorakis, your devotion is instrumental. Equally educative is the great Greek culture we have witmessed from the many historical monuments as well as from the hospitality of the Greek citizens. In a matter of a week, we grew falling in love with Greece. The unbelievable wisdom of the Greek people are now the subject of our daily conversation. The enchanting folk music and the smile of the folk dancers are lingering in our mind ever since. We are proud of being friends of Greek people. My daughter Amy wants to plant an olive tree in our backyard, and my wife is learning Greek cooking with some success. She bought a bottle of olive oil and made a Greek salad. She is trying hard to learn how to make pitta. But no feeling is greater than the expectation that we will see our old friends again in the future. Best regards. Dear Prof. Nikos Mastorakis, It was my first participation to the multi-conference. Compared to other conferences I've been to (some very small, some very large like SPIE Photonics West and IEEE ICIP, ISIE,...) this conference is different. Although the multi-conference aspect, which I found very interesting, the size of the conference was ideal to me: not too big, not too large. The papers were interesting and there was always one of the parallel sessions which attracted my attention. The conference dinner was exceptional! An excellent mixture of good food and (Greek) ambiance! Never had such a great conference dinner experience. If you organize next year CSCC 2001 I would be glad to participate again with a contribution from our group. I felt that there was a very good coverage of topics, although some were too specialised for my interest. It is a pity that some sessions had poor turnout, but I believe that was at least in part because of the excellent venue of the conference, which many people did not want to miss sightseeing within the short time they could be there for the conference. I was also fascinated by some of the extras of the conference, namely the Certificate of attendance and the hard-cover post-conference books. I think these are definite plus points and is encouraging and rewarding. The banquet was excellent, too. Enjoy the summer !!! Regards, R.
