Brief Biography of the Guest Editors:
Professor Horia Necula, PhD, graduated in 1993 University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering - Department of Industrial Energetic. In 1999 he obtained the PhD title in Termoenergetics, both at INSA Lyon and University "Politehnica" of Bucharest. Since 1993 he has an active research and didactic activities at University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering – Department of Energy Production and Use in the field of heat and mass transfer, heat exchangers and refrigeration installations. Present he is the vide-dean of the Faculty of Power Engineering. 

Professor George Darie, PhD, graduated University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering – Department of Thermal Power Plants in 1986. Since 1990, he has developed an intensive research wok on energy production and environmental protection domains. In 1997 he obtained at University "Politehnica" of Bucharest the PhD title in the field of Thermal Power Plants. Present, he is the Head of Energy Production and Use Department.

Assistant – professor Elena-Nineta Ghizdeanu, graduated University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering – Department of Nuclear Engineering in 2001. Since she graduated, she is an assistant – professor at University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering and she teaches seminars for: heat and mass transfer; equipments; industrial thermic installations; nuclear power plants engineering; nuclear materials. Since 2002, she is a Ph.D. student at University "Politehnica" of Bucharest - Faculty of Power Engineering, as my home institute in the field of radioactive waste management.
