Brief Biography of the guest editor:
Antonella Cecchi was born in 25/12/1967. She is associate professor
of
“Strength of Materials”, in IUAV University of Venice.
She has Ph.D in History of
Building
Sciences and Techniques, from University of Rome “La Sapienza”. From May 2000
until today she has a
scientific european collaboration with Karam Sab, LAMI – Laboratoire
Analyse des Matériaux et Identification, Unité Mixte ENPC-LCPC - at ENPC- Ecole
Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées- Paris.
The research topics she is interesting are on mechanics of materials and
structures: masonry and fiber reinforced polymers. In particular: periodic brickwork: in plane and out of plane linear and
yield homogenization analysis, fiber reinforced polymer: materials
homogenization and multiscale modeling of linear bucking. |
