Prof. Tafaghodinia raised the flag of WSEAS on the crater of Teide.
For all these successes of WSEAS, with great enthusiasm and making a superb symbolic action, Professor B.Tafaghodinia, climbed in 12,188.3 feet (3,715 m) in the Volcano of Teide in Tenerife (28.3N, 16.6W) on Sunday December 20, 2003 and raised a flag of WSEAS.

Prof. Tafaghodinia on the crater of Teide.

Teide is the third largest volcano on Earth (Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea are the first and second largest volcanoes). The age of the main subaerial shield phase for Tenerife is about 5 million years.
WSEAS would like to thank Prof. Tafaghodinia for this brilliant symbolic action.

Other colleagues express their enthusiasm for the recent successes of WSEAS with group cyclic dances.

Below, Prof. A. Genco (member of WSEAS) and Mr. S.Sorce (member of WSEAS) celebrate the great successes of WSEAS
