A)  Special Issue in:  Numerical Methods in Mechanics. The Special Issue in Numerical Methods in Mechanics will be a forum for the publication of high-quality peer-reviewed papers on integral-differential equations, finite elements, finite differences, finite volumes, boundary elements etc. The topics suitable for inclusion range from Plasticity, Fracture, and Damage Mechanics, Mechanics of Nanomaterials, Fluid-Structure Interaction, Damage Identification and Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE), Computational and Experimental Mechanics, Geomechanics and Mechanics of Granular Materials, Flows in Porous Media, Impact and Multibody Dynamics, Nonlinear Dynamics, Structural Dynamics, and Control, Dynamic Instability and Buckling, Vibrations, Acoustics, and Noise Control, Manufacturing Processes, Advanced Materials and Smart Structures, Micro Electromechanically Systems (MEMS)  even to those problems of Mechatronics, Transport Phenomena in Micro/Nanoscale, Aerodynamics and Aeroelasticity, etc...
The expressed intention of the Journal is the dissemination of information relating to the development refinement and application of computer-based numerical techniques for solving problems in Mechanics. All papers will be characterized by originality and mathematical rigor.

B) Special Issue in:  Fracture and Damage Mechanics. 
WSEAS Transactions on Applied and Theoretical Mechanics seeks original manuscripts for a Special Issue in Fracture and Damage Mechanics. The aim of the special issue is to promote further international co-operation among Scientists and Engineers from different disciplines involved in the study of Fracture and Damage Mechanics. The overall objective is to produce an integrated approach to problems of Fracture Failure, Fatigue and Safe Design. The special issue will review papers on any topics listed below. All papers will be characterized by originality and mathematical rigor.
