Open Call for Papers for special issue:
"Applied Soft Computing"

Aim/Topics: WSEAS Transactions on Computers seeks original manuscripts for a Special Issue in Applied Soft Computing. Soft computing is a collection of methods and approaches, which aim to exploit tolerance for uncertainty to achieve innovative solutions to complex real life science and business problems. The focus of this special issues is to publish the highest quality research in application and convergence of the areas that comprise Soft Computing, that is: Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computing, Rough Sets, and other similar techniques.

This special issue will seek to cover the following soft computing and related techniques, interactions between them, and their industrial applications:

• Neuro Computing
• Evolutionary Computing
• Hybrid Methods
• Rough Sets
• Chaos Theory
• Particle Swarm
• Ant Colony

Important dates
Submission deadline: August 15, 2011
Completion of the first round of reviews: October 15, 2011
Minor revisions due: November 15, 2011
Final acceptance notification: December 15, 2011
